Physical Therapist

Are you a fun, vibrant Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping children and families? developt Pedicatric Physical Therapy is a child and family centred, community focused organization committed to changing the way pediatric health care is viewed in our province. 

As a client and family entered clinic, we provided services in a range of settings. This includes develops casual clinical setting, the family home, schools, daycares and even over virtual platforms!

We are looking to add a contract Physical Therapist on a part-time to full time position as caseload allows. The position includes mentorship and assistance with caseload building based on your knowledge and skill set, adding to it as experience is gained!

Key Responsibilites:

  • Providing top-notch, evidence informed physical therapy services to clients from birth to 21 years in both in-person and virtual settings

  • Assessment of clients using standardized outcome measures, as applicable

  • Creation and implementation of treatment plan specific to client and family needs

  • Provide education and/or treatment in both individual and group settings

  • Maintenance of clinical records in accordance with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists Standards of Practice

  • Connect and collaborate with other health care workers and therapists in accordance with your client’s needs

 

The right applicant will be:

  • Registered with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists

  • Have valid Liability Insurance

  • Have their own vehicle and be willing to do some travel

  • Motivated and committed to ongoing continuing education

  • Be passionate about providing evidence informed assessments and treatments to the pediatric population, in combination with your clinical expertise

  • Be committed to growing the physical therapy profession as it relates to pediatrics

  • Be able to provide a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

 

Education

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

  • Previous experience in pediatrics is an asset but not mandatory

  • Previous experience using software for recordkeeping is an asset
